How the Blue-Collar Workers are motivated in Digitalization Period. Link Job Satisfaction with Organizational Performance

Engineering, manufacturing, and the employment of blue-collar workers have all seen substantial changes as a result of the quick development of digital technology and the rise of Industry 4.0. The productivity of organizations has changed due to automation, robotics, artificial intelligence, and other smart technologies, yet workers whose jobs are changing or becoming obsolete are also feeling anxious and insecure. Human resources, especially blue-collar workers, continue to be the foundation of manufacturing companies despite the growing reliance on machines, directly enhancing output and product quality. An approximate representative sample of 221 employees from different manufacturing organizations in Karachi, Pakistan, was collected by the researcher. SPSS and AMOS software were used to analyze the data. In this fast-paced economy, companies that invest in technology, automation, and artificial intelligence stand to gain a competitive advantage. This study looked at artificial intelligence and automation, information and communication technology, and the effect of blue-collar worker job satisfaction on organizational effectiveness. The results demonstrate that there is a substantial correlation between the variables and that the dependent variable, organizational success, is significantly impacted by the job satisfaction of blue-collar workers. It has been found that job satisfaction is a highly business-specific, ongoing mechanism.
