Author Guiedlines
Content and length of manuscripts
- Editors invite original manuscripts from scholars of academic world, provided they fall within the areas provided by BAHRIA UNIVERSITY Journal of Management and Technology (BJMT).
- The paper maximum length should 10,000 words or 30 pages as the subject matter and research method permits.
- Submission to BJMT implies that the submitted manuscript is original new work and never been published before or under consideration for publication anywhere else.
- All submission should be in English. Upon request BJMT will direct authors to English language experts, who will check and improve the quality of English (before submission).
- The author should clearly indicate the corresponding author. Ensure that the provided email addresses, fax, postal address and telephone numbers (including country codes) are complete and correct.
Preparation of Manuscripts
- Prepare your manuscript in according to ‘BJMT Paper Template’ available in Downloads
- Cover page should cover the title of manuscript, names of authors (use * for corresponding author), affiliations, email addresses, postal addresses, telephone # and fax number.
- Foot notes should be avoided as much as possible.
- Referencing should be in the Harvard Referencing Style.
- Literature citation in all the text should be uniform in style
- In order to ensure the blind peer review, authors are prohibited to identify their identity (directly or indirectly), in the text following the cover page.
- References to other publications must be in Harvard style. That is, shown within the text as the first author's name followed by a comma, year of publication and the quoted page number - all in round brackets, e.g. (Doyle, 1994, p.23). If there are more than one author, the following format is used: (McAdam et al, 2001, p.236). At the end of the article a reference list in alphabetical order must be given as follows:
- For books: surname, initials, (year), title, place of publication, publisher. E.g. Ballou, R.H. (1992), Business Logistics Management. 3rd Edition. Eaglewood Cliffs: Prentice-Hall International Editions.
- For journals: surname, initials, (year), "title", journal, volume, number, pages. E.g. Fox, S. (1994), "Empowerment as a Catalyst for Change: an Example from the Food Industry", Supply Chain Management, Vol. 2, No 3, pp. 29-33.
